KIBO IV Stand-alone Designed Shelter

Based on decades of experience in the security and civil defence shelter sector, KIBO 360 presents a revolutionary new solution designed to protect people in private and commercial properties.

KIBO 360 is a safe room designed with a CBRN filtering system for short-term emergency situations. It offers immediate protection against armed, chemical and explosive threats. Derived from military guardhouses, from which it inherits the mechanical, ballistic and anti-explosion protection specifications, KIBO 360 does not attract external attention. Thanks to its inoffensive appearance, it integrates easily into a garden, where it will be mistaken for a technical pool room or a tool store. The KIBO 360 will be a perfect shelter to protect up to 4-5 people for a few hours and are equipped with roof-mounted solar power, basic electricity supply, water, VHF/UHF aerial, lightning protection and gas masks. If necessary, they can also be equipped with toilets, air conditioning and a complete electrical installation.

Certified protection levels

Ballistic resistance: KIBO 360 achieves level 10 ballistic resistance according to the American UL752 standard, which requires resistance to war calibre bullets (12.7x99 or .50BMG).

Resistance to forced entry: Adapted from military sentry boxes protecting sensitive sites, KIBO 360 guarantees high-level mechanical resistance against conventional and portable burglary instruments.

Explosion resistance: For the most demanding, KIBO 360 offers an explosion resistance of 0.2 bar (3psi@100ms). A 100-gram block of C4 explosive won't scare you.

Certifications and tests:

KIBO 360 has been rigorously tested by independent laboratories, approved and certified by NATO. KIBO 360 offers ballistic resistance that exceeds the requirements of American standard 0108.04 NIJ (National Institute of Justice) level IV, which requires resistance to the calibre of war (7.62x51 or .308 Winchester).
